Prof. Anat Gafter-Gvili is the Head of Department of Medicine A, in Rabin Medical Center and a senior physician in the Hematology Division in Davidoff Cancer Center in Rabin Medical Center, Israel. She has published many original articles and reviews on the management of anemia in many different clinic settings (pregnancy, chronic kidney disease, heart failure, cancer related anemia etc), as well as the efficacy and safety of intravenous iron. Other research topics include the treatment of lymphoma, and infections in hematological and oncological immunocompromised patients.
