Ilaria Elena Palamà

Ilaria Elena Palamà is a permanent researcher at CNR-NANOTEC in Lecce, with several years’ research experience in nanotechnology with an emphasis on Nanoparticles (NPs) for gene/drug delivery in leukemia cells as demonstrated by numerous ISI papers. She received a Master Degree in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine from the University of Bari (2008) and a PhD in Smart System and Technology-Nanoscience, with honours, from Salento University (Lecce, 2012). For her research activity, she has been awarded several national and international prizes. She currently works with a team of 3 postdoctoral researchers, 3 PhD students and 1 research assistant and has active collaborations with other local, national and international research groups.
